If a tree falls in the forest, and you put your ear to the oyster mushrooms that grow on it, can you hear the ocean?

(Definitely a saying.)

Beautiful flush of oyster mushrooms today on a fallen tree in our woods. (Take that, “tidying up”.) Bounty. Many taken, many more left behind.

Spore on little friends, spore on.

Caveat fungi: There are many mushrooms poppin’ up in the woods right now. Including deadly toxic ones. Some of which are also white with white gills. Know what you’re noshing, or walk on by. You can always safely stuff your eyes with all of them.
